National Night Out
The Westport Police Department is excited to announce that we will be hosting National Night Out on August 4, 2026!
This annual community event is a great opportunity for residents, families, and local organizations to come together, strengthen neighborhood connections, and build positive relationships with law enforcement. National Night Out promotes community safety, crime prevention awareness, and a spirit of unity that helps keep Westport a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

Driftwood Show and Glass Float Hunt
It’s the 63rd Annual Driftwood Show and Glass Float Hunt Festival. For vendor information or event questions, contact Kelly Redford at 360-743-0556 or CranberryHeritage2@gmail.com. Bring your finds and enter the Driftwood Show! Friday the 21st between 4-7 pm. There are categories for all ages, along with cash prizes, ribbons, and handcrafted glass float awards—including Best in Show, People's Choice, and Junior Best in Show. You can even enter your favorite beach photo for a chance to have it featured on next year's event poster.
Westport Longboard Classic
Westport Longboard Classic is back at The Jetty in Westport on September 12-13. More information can be found on The Surf Shop Website. Registration is live!
30 Miles of Junque
It's everyone's favorite yard sale- 30 Miles of Junque is at various locations around South Beach on Sept 18-20th. Maps will be released on the first day of the event. Elk River Challenge
The Elk River Challenge - Your choice of a 3 or 7 mile human-powered boat race starting at Brady's Oysters on the beautiful Elk River Estuary. Registration starts at 9:00 am and pre-race meeting at 10:00 am. For information, please call 360-589-7000. Sponsored by Sound Rowers & Paddlers.

It’s the 50th annual 4th of July Tokeland Parade and Picnic! The parade starts at the Tokeland Marina. Picnic at Tokeland Hotel to follow.
Rusty Scuppers Pirate Daze
25th Annual Rusty Scuppers Pirate Daze at the Westport Marina. Pirates, music, food, vendors, parade, fire show, cannons, bouncy houses and more.
Summer Solstice Party at Waves
The community is invited to the 2nd Annual Summer Solstice Party at Waves Reiki Retreat. Live music, Food, Volleyball, and Games. Bring a chair and BYOB. Free for everyone!
Community Planting- Volunteers Needed
Westport Marina District Planter Refresh Event- Volunteers Needed May 19 and 20, 10am to 3pm. Tasks will include removing select plants, adding soil and compost, planting new additions, and general cleanup. Snacks, kneeling pads, and garden tools will be provided, but if you have your own tools and are willing to bring them, that would be a big help. Read more about the project here.
30th Annual Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival
The 30th Annual Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival will take place May 1st-3rd. Come celebrate the areas spring shorebird migration. On Friday, May 1, Daytime activities are at the Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge. On Saturday and Sunday, events will be held at Hoquiam Middle School, 200 Spencer St, Hoquiam, WA 98550. Washington Coast Savers Coastal Cleanup
Join volunteers around the world in celebrating Earth Day by participating in the Washington Coast Savers Coastal Cleanup. In Westport/Grayland beach cleanup from 9am-12pm. Hosted by Olympia Surfrider Foundation Chapter. Buckets and pickers on hand. Bring gloves. Register here or just show up!
Crab and Clam Derby
Brought to you by WeFish and The City of Westport. Presale tickets available the 17th from 3pm-6pm at the Westport Derby Booth weight station on Westhaven Dr.

Our local commercial crab fleet will be stocking the marina the day of the event with approximately 1000 recreational-sized crab to catch.
Crab derby ticket $12
Clam derby ticket $7 tickets must be purchased before derby time. For the clam derby, get a ticket and go clam digging in the morning, then come over to the booth to have it measured before noon. Biggest clam wins.
Derby booth will open for tickets sales the morning of the event at 7:30. For crab derby tickets only

Mermaid Festival- Every Weekend in March
The International Mermaid Museum Festival is March 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 (International Mermaid Day) from 11am to 4pm at Westport Winery Garden Resort.
This is a FREE Festival with fun for all ages.
You will love the aerial acrobats.
You will meet the Northwest’s famous Una the Mermaid in her tank.
You can pose with Siren Circe on the Mermaid Throne.

Ring in the New Year with the Westport Fire Works show at 9PM! The show takes places at 100 W Bay St. Suggested viewing and parking is available in Lots 1, 2, and 3. South Bay Espresso will be in Lot 2 offering FREE hot cocoa, apple cider, and cookies!

3rd Annual Wreathmaking Benefitting the Fishermen's Memorial
Learn to make a holiday wreath with fresh cut greenery or, if you don’t feel crafty, we’ll make one for you. All materials provided.; however, if you have a particular wired ribbon you’d like to use, we’ll show you how to make a bow. Have greenery from your yard you’d like to incorporate into your wreath? Feel free to bring it. Students will sign up for either a morning or afternoon session. It takes about an hour to make a wreath.
Class hours:
Friday Dec. 12 2-4pm, 4-6pm
Saturday Dec. 13 10am-noon, noon-2pm
Sunday Dec. 14 10am-noon, noon-2pm
Class size is limited to 10 students per session
Cost:$25 per wreath, cash only
