Ocosta Crab Feed Fundraiser

Crab lovers, mark your calendars. Westport’s legendary Ocosta Booster Club Crab Feed returns Saturday, March 14, 2026, from noon to 5 p.m., serving up heaping plates of fresh Dungeness crab, and a whole lot of community spirit.

Now in its third decade, this beloved tradition began in 1993 and has grown into one of the biggest grassroots fundraisers on the South Beach. Every crack of a shell helps support scholarships and student programs in the Ocosta School District, benefiting kids from Westport, Grayland, North Cove, and Tokeland. If you’ve never been, expect organized chaos in the best possible way. Long tables fill quickly. Friends greet friends. Volunteers hustle trays piled high with steaming crab. The scent of garlic bread and spaghetti fills the air. And yes, there’s plenty of cocktail sauce.

Local fishing families donate more than 3,000 pounds of fresh Dungeness crab each year — a remarkable show of support that reflects the tight-knit character of South Beach communities. It’s not just dinner; it’s a celebration of the maritime culture that defines Westport and greater Grays Harbor County.

The feast takes place at the Ocosta Rec Hall, located at 45 Ocosta 6th Street. Dinner includes all-you-can-eat crab, spaghetti, garlic bread, and coleslaw. Beer, wine, cocktails, and sodas are available for purchase.

Admission: $50 for ages 13 and up. $25 for ages 6–12. Free for children 5 and under. There are no advance ticket sales - simply pay at the door. Cash and credit cards are accepted. For many families, the Crab Feed signals the unofficial start of spring on the coast - a chance to gather, give back and maybe loosen a belt notch or two.
