Scholarships Available for Grays Harbor Graduates

The Grays Harbor Community Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications from local students pursuing education beyond high school. In 2026, the Foundation will award $1,000,000 to Grays Harbor students. Students can apply for a renewal each year for a total of four years of scholarship. While many seniors apply before graduation, as long as you graduated from a Grays Harbor High School at some point in your life, you are eligible to apply!

These scholarships support students embarking on undergraduate studies at two-year or four-year colleges and universities, as well as those entering vocational and technical programs that lead to professional licenses or certifications. All institutions must be located within the United States, as awards cannot be sent to international institutions.

The application process has been designed for simplicity. Students need to submit only one application to be considered for all available scholarships. Once applications are reviewed, the scholarship committee carefully matches selected recipients with individual scholarships based on how well they meet each scholarship's specific criteria.

Interested students should note that the application deadline is March 1st at 5:00 PM. This gives prospective applicants time to gather necessary materials and craft thoughtful responses. Additionally, a special vocational scholarship application is available until August 15th for Grays Harbor high school graduates pursuing vocational certificates.

For local students planning their educational future, these scholarships represent an important opportunity to receive financial support for their academic and career goals.
